HELLO PIGS!! ooppsss.. O.o; i mean.. HI ALL!! ^^ it really took mi quite some time to get use to this new style blogger.. anyway.. this is my 1st posting in this SP3 blog.. jus wanna share some of my convictions for the Lord!! =)

im always having this qns in my mind.. why is SP3 not growing?? or why is SP unit growing so slowly?? why is there no harvest during christmas?? hasn't we done enough?? well.. i would say tt God really specks to mi.. deep down in my heart.. i really senses tt the problem dosen't lie on whether hv we done enough or not.. but its on whether do we hv the heart for evangelism..

in the past.. i used to dun like doing evax.. when leaders ask mi to do invite.. i will be like -_-'' not again......... n also.. i will start to find sth to replace the time when the others r doing evax so tt i can hv an excuse to run away from it ^^ " however.. i think tt this couldn't go on.. im being baptised w the name of evangeline.. how can i dun like doing evax?? why dosen't i hv the heart for evangelism??

i would really wanna find back my strong conviction tt i hv for the Lord in the past (pray for mi >.<) tt strong convintion.. tt child like faith.. tt "i can do all things through Him who gimme strength" blah blah.. n also.. i need the heart for evangelism..

though i may not like doing evax.. but i jus told God: "GOD!! im here praying a simple prayer to u~~ i need the heart for evangelism~~ woo~~" n i can tell u.. God really let mi find tt doing evax isnt tt difficult.. i mean.. i dunno how many of u will believe tt this is not simply another encouraging posting.. but its really on how God can use u if u r willing.. if u dun believe can go n ask jorris!! ask her am i more willing to do evax!!

haha.. anyway.. i think its only rite to get ur heart back to the rite track.. it really doesn't work if u do evax only when ur leaders push u to do so.. i think it will jus create another good opportuinty for the devil to disturb.. haha.. so.. pray to the Lord if u think u r not on the rite track!!

well.. i shall end w this: SP3 little pigs.. we built our house with bricks.. so when the wolf tries to blow it down.. it will not fall n we are protected!! =)

Core Team Meet

Yeah!

today's coreteam meet was fantastic isn't it? Perhaps to recap abit what we learnt?

Leader's Faith
- Joshua 1:1-1, 4

1) Be clear in your direction (v1,4)
Are you clear with your directions in your walk with God?
- See where you are going as you move on. Life transformation will definitely occurs.
- Focus is the key
* Let's choose to be excellent and positive instead of being moody!

2) Be confident in your desire (v6-7, 9, 18)
- Strong & Courageous
- without faith, it is impossible to please God.
- be careful of the three areas below that the devil used to rob you away from God:
2.1) experience
- the devil will use your experience to throw you into a conclusion that you are capable. In fact, experience will often dilute your faith, because you based your understandings on human reasonings.
2.2) emotions
- emotions distracts you. Be always alert towards situations that will develop your emotions, & stay AWAY from them.
2.3) Excuses
- dun rationalise. Have that desire from today onwards to do it, and not find reasons to convince yourself you can't.

3) Be committed to your decisions (v9)
>> Luke 9:62
- once you start, dun look back.
- Be contented in every situations you are positioned, and make the best out of it.
>> Joshua 3:1
- Take note of the 3 areas that will be the reason why people do not commit:
3.1) Problems
- even good ideas and successes also have problems.
- But God neverthelessly, is greater than all problems =)
3.2) Pressure
- Explosion of stress and many burdens.
- Yet they is always times where we have to learn to let go, and relax. God will not give us something we are not able to do.
3.3) People
- the most powerful weapon of discouragement.

4) Be corrected by your defeat (chap 7)

5) Be conscious of God's dependability

It was a fruitful teaching and a great meeting. It was really fruitful to see Gideon, evangeline, and shawn joining with me for this core team meet! Yeah! we are in for this harvest all together! Too bad brian have diploma plus classes thus he can't join us, its Ok!

every week from now is a crucial week until christmas strikes my dearies!

Just want to take this time to inform you guys some very important dates coming up within this two months! Keep your calender marked so you be prepared for them! =)

17th November 2006
Corporate Prayer Meet
(everybody expected to come!)
This is a very important gathering of the whole church to pray over for christmas harvest and breakthrough for the coming year.
Venue: Kallang Theatre
Time: 7.30pm onwards
Pre-meeting time: 6.00pm at Dover MRT station

18th November 2006
Tertiary Prayer Meet
This is a regular meeting up for the tertiary people to pray over for evangelistic services. Will update you guys again through smses. =)

Coming Saturdays 2006
CL crash course
*People who have already been informed to come for the WFL do take note. Time will be notify through smses.
Venue: America room
This is a beneficial course for all who desire to serve God greater in a different role.

8th December 2006
Who killed santa 2
An exciting kudo detective event with fabulous prizes to be won. Do invite with all your might for your friends and contacts to come and join in the fun!
Venue: Fort canning Park
Time: 8 plus. *will be informed again.
Cost: Approximately $10 ++ (including refreshment)

16th December 2006
Tertiary ESS
A great time for inviting friends to come and share more about what God can do in our lives! Yeah, this is exciting.
Venue: Nexus Auditorium
Time: 5.45pm - 7.45pm

23th December 2006
Tertiary Christmas ESS
Come on and get everybody to join in the christmas service! A grand and surprising program flow is awaiting to inspire and touch everyone hearts.

24th December 2006
Bring that On' Christmas countdown
A great time of fellowship and having fun together with each other and our dear friends too! Catered buffet dinners together with great surprises of programs will outburst for that night! Highlights "Power of praises" cant be missed!

Official Beginning

The Official Beginning
of the new covenant

My dear SP3.. Finally our caregroup blog is up! i did some editing here and there, and if anyone of you know about HTML, do go and update the template to become a better one! Anyway, in case any of you don't really understand why we need a blog, im going to share with you guys!

Really hope to make full use of this blog to update our exciting journey with God as a caregroup to encourage each other and the people out there who probably will visit our blog. =) There's no reason for not sharing testimonies of how God have work in our lives right? So here's a good chance for us to pour out in words or pictures of God's deeds!

Like to take this chance to encourage all of you, we are a very strong team! Gideon, Brian, Evangeline, Shawn and Garmeng.. when we are together, we are indeed very strong! Let's build this caregroup biblically and let it shines as the model for the unit! We will grow in quantity and quality by end december! SP3, hold strong to the vision and your committment together as a caregroup, none will be left out, we can only do this together. =)
